New for 2015, the Mayfly is coveted by Fly Fisherman. This insect spends most of its life at the bottom of lakes, rivers, and streams as a larva. On warm nights in early July the larva transforms into a winged insect and floats to the surface and flies away to live for a very short time before dying. Fish absolutely gorge themselves on the Mayfly and fisherman follow closely behind. After being asked countless times by customers to make this tile I finally did and now many upnorth cabins and cottages have a Mayfly tile as decoration to commemorate this special insect that visits us every year as sure as Christmas.
