Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I care for the tiles?
A: Well, obviously, don't drop them. That's for one. And for cleaning, try using some glass cleaner and a clean cotton rag, or Q-tip. Spray the cleaner on to the rag, then carefully wipe the tile clean.
Q: What if I receive my tile and it's broken?
A: We package our tiles very carefully to avoid breakage in shipping. In the event that you do receive a broken tile, please contact us with your name and order number and we'll arrange for a replacement tile to be sent to you.
Q: How long will it take to receive my tiles?
A: We always try to maintain an adequate inventory of our most popular tiles. You will receive your order within 2 weeks, depending on stock availability. For large orders, delivery may take up to 4 weeks. Remember, these are handmade tiles, and it takes time to make things by hand! Especially beautiful things!
Q: Will there be any new designs forthcoming?
A: Definitely. There are other designs being worked on, including a special collectors limited edition series. Watch the website for announcements of new releases.
Q: How can I display individual tiles?
A: Each tile has a carefully placed hole in the back so you can hang the tile on a wall. It can also lay flat on a surface.
Q: There are small cracks in the glazing. Is this a defective tile?
A: No. It's not defective. It's something called "crazing."It occurs on some tiles and it's actually considered part of that tile's character.
Q: The tiles don't appear to be perfectly square. Is there a problem?
A: No problem. It's art, baby.
Q: What's life?
A: What you make it.
Q: What's art?
